I’m very excited to welcome a new dancing partner to the team - Belle, a 2015 mare by Bordeaux and half sister to Hawtins Delicato! A massive thank you to Henrietta Cheetham and the Lady Joseph Trust for purchasing her for me and continuing to support my dreams and to Hawtins Stud for their support through the purchase, as well as everyone else who helped to make it happen.

DRAGONS FIRE

Stable name: Nero

Dark Bay Gelding by De Niro

Owner: Sophie Wells, Neil & Jackie Walker, Valerie Woolford & Diane Gallon.

DOB: 2016

Height - 15.3hh

At the end of 2022 Sophie very kindly offered to let me have a sit on Nero her young horse and we clicked straight away. In 2023 he continued to excel winning all 3 National titles, 3 International classes and we were selected as reserves for the European Championships at just 7 years old! Alongside the Para classes, Sophie continues to compete him in able bodied classes where he qualified for both the Winter and Summer National Championships.

Previous Horses

Erin has had the opportunity to ride a number of different horses over the years and is incredibly grateful to owners and everyone who has supported her throughout her journey.

LJT Diamond Crusador

Stable name: Loki

Bay Gelding by Diamond Hit

Owner: Henrietta Cheetham & The Lady Joseph Trust

DOB: 6th April 2013

Height - 16.1hh

Loki joined us in March 2019 having been produced by Sophie Wells and Oakleigh Farm Stud. We were selected as reserve for the Tokyo Olympics and competed in able bodied dressage, qualifying for the Winter National Championships at Elementary and Medium level. We had some incredible success both Internationally and Nationally with scores up to 78% but in September 2022 I decided that Loki was more suited to the able bodied circuit, where he loved playing with the advanced work and was sold to a lovely new rider in Ireland. He was the kindest, most genuine horse and I am proud of all that we achieved together and look forward to seeing the partnership develop with his new rider.

Pimms in action

Dior

Stable name: Pimms

Liver Chestnut Hannoverian Mare by Dimaggio

Owner: Annie Hunter-Blair (nee Whittet)

DOB: 30th April, 2003

Height: 17hh

Pimms joined us in January 2015 having competed up to medium level. In her first season in para dressage she made her mark on the international stage winning five international classes and becoming the Grade 2 National Champion at Stoneleigh. She continued this success into 2016 where she was selected as the non-travelling reserve for the Rio Paralympics. In 2017 she was selected for the FEI European Championships and returned home with Team Gold and Individual Bronze and in 2018 was part of the Silver medal winning team, finishing 5th in the Freestyle. She is now partnered with a Grade 1 rider enjoying a slightly easier pace and I’m sure will excel in the arena.

Nirvana Morroko and Erin in action

Nirvana Morroko

Stable name: Roko

Bright Bay KWPN Gelding by Orame

Owned by: Erin, Lynne & David Orford, Diana & John Barley (Nirvana Spa)

DOB: 31st March, 2003

Height: 16.2hh

Roko joined Erin in July 2010 aged 7 as her first 'project'. With numerous national and international titles to his name, he is well known on the circuit for his power and presence in the arena! He also gave Erin her first abled-bodied win when they represented the Central Region at the Home International, won the Elementary and were part of the winning team. Highly motivated by food with a special love of attention, small dogs and prizegivings Roko proved his ability as an international star. He is now partnered with a Grade 1 rider and everyone looks forward to watching their progress.

Painted Affair aka Scottie

Previous horses that accompanied Erin on her journey were PAINTED AFFAIR (Scottie), who she had previously watched compete at the Athens Paralympics in 2004 and was owned by the Para Dressage Training Trust. In 2006, he took Erin to her first international, finishing second on all three days following which they were invited onto the World Class Potential Squad.

Then came NIRVANA (Mr B as he was known at home), owned by John and Diana Barley of Nirvana Spa. At 17 years old Diana was looking for a quieter job for Mr B and his partnership with Erin began. Diana very kindly then gave Erin the ride on her two younger horses, NIRVANA PURE INDULGENCE (Damingo) and NIRVANA MOONDANCER (Monty). Both enjoyed success nationally and internationally before John and Diana invested, alongside Erin and her parents, in Nirvana Morroko (Roko).
